The CBBI is located at 77 E Delaware Ave in Newark, DE. The parking lot with two spaces dedicated for CBBI research subjects is located behind the building, and the entrance to the lot is located off Academy St., just south of the intersection with Delaware Ave.
CBBI is a two-story, 11,600 square foot, extension to the Life Sciences Research Facility on Delaware Avenue. The CBBI opened in April 2016 and has been designated a “core facility” because it is a centralized, shared resource available for use by researchers throughout the University and its research partners.
Center for Biomedical and Brain Imaging
Constructed in 2016, the Center for Biomedical and Brain Imaging, is a two-story addition to the Life Sciences Research Facility. Jim Hoffman is currently serving as interim director and John Christopher as Facility Manager. Hours are 8 a.m.-4:30p.m. and closed Saturdays and Sundays.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The University of Delaware Research Office is open daily Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. The Research Office is closed Saturday and Sunday and observes all University closings and holidays. See the Academic Calendar for more information.
